FEATURES:

Automatic Shutoff

Does not pressurize tank
Can be filled from remote fill point
Contamination minimized
Parts are made from 304/316 stainless steel or plastic to help with corrosion from DEF fluids
DEF freezes at -11°C (+12°F)

Design Challenges:

Tanks, hoses and fittings must be prevented from freezing
Receiver and Automatic Shutoff Valve have internal heaters
Transfer hose between Receiver and Automatic Shutoff Valve must be heated or drained
System must be designed to minimize exposure to air
Vent has check valves to minimize exposure of tank to outside air
Receiver and nozzle have self-sealing valves that close upon disconnection
