Danfoss Airflex Industrial Clutches & Couplings
Industrial drive systems can require controlled power transmission, stopping or overload protection. Begin with the fitted assembly and the job it performs. Alpha Trading International handles model-specific inquiries for genuine Airflex parts and associated accessories.
WE KEEP WHEELS IN MOTION.
Airflex options relevant to industrial drives
CB, VC and HEVC constricting units
CB addresses cyclic and general transmission duties. VC handles demanding inertia and slip loads; HEVC provides increased energy capacity for severe duties.
TLC torque-limiting couplings
Danfoss describes TLC for torque spikes in variable-frequency-drive mill systems, with electronic slip detection and reset capability.
Use these family descriptions to organize your inquiry. The exact assembly, dimensions, operating conditions and equipment requirements determine compatibility. Supply status is confirmed for the specific requested part.
What to document before requesting parts
Define the function
Specify whether the inquiry is for a clutch, brake or torque-limiting coupling. These are different functions, even where product technologies are related.
Capture the drive data
Provide motor power, operating speed and the driven machine. State whether the inquiry is an exact replacement or a proposed change in duty, speed or configuration.
Identify connected components
Include controls, rotorseals or valves only when they are part of the request. List each component separately and attach any available system drawing or bill of materials.
Prepare your industrial drives parts inquiry
- Driven equipment and required function
- Complete clutch / brake / coupling designation
- Motor power, speed, duty and VFD details if applicable
- Component list, quantities and delivery country
Provide any original drawing, nameplate photo or previous purchase reference with your email. Keep original markings intact when photographing the assembly, and include units with any dimensions you supply.
For older Eaton Airflex equipment, retain the original identification in your inquiry rather than guessing a current substitute. A visible family name helps start identification, but does not replace the full part or assembly number.
Request a quick quote
Send your part references, quantities and destination to Alpha Trading International. Pricing, availability, lead time and any proposed replacement reference are confirmed with your quote.
Email your parts inquiry →Your email application opens so you can add documents and review the inquiry before sending.
Industrial drives: frequently asked questions
Is TLC the same as a conventional clutch?
TLC is a torque-limiting coupling family. Its purpose and controls must be considered separately from a routine clutch replacement.
Can I select HEVC just because it has higher energy capacity?
No. A family-level feature does not establish compatibility. The complete drive and proposed selection require review.
Can you quote an exact replacement?
Send the full assembly and part identification, requested quantity and destination. Availability and any current replacement reference are confirmed with the quote.
Should I include VFD information?
Include it when describing the drive, especially for a torque-limiter inquiry. Also provide the installed coupling or clutch identification.
